Our audiologists offer the best options for all other forms of hearing loss. We perform all types of hearing assessment, including:

Audiological Evaluations
Hearing is carefully assessed to determine the type and severity of the hearing loss. We measure your ability to hear tones as well as to understand speech.

Pediatric Hearing Assessment
Good hearing is essential for a child to develop speech, language, and learning skills. It is important that hearing loss is identified as early as possible to ensure adequate speech and language development. Hearing in infants and toddlers can and should be assessed as early as possible.

Tympanometry
Results of this quick test tell doctors whether there is fluid behind the eardrum, if an ear tube is blocked, or if there is a hole in the eardrum.

Otoacoustic emissions (OAE)
Evaluation of cochlear (hearing organ) function by the recording of sounds that the ear produces itself.

Auditory Brainstem Response Testing (ABR)
Used to screen problems with the acoustic nerve and brain. The test requires a patient to lie relaxed and still for approximately 45 minutes. Clicking sounds are played through earphones while the response is recorded.

Electronystagmography (ENG)

A diagnostic test to record involuntary movements of the eye caused by a condition known as nystagmus. It can also be used to diagnose the cause of vertigo, dizziness or balance dysfunction by testing the vestibular system (balance organ).
